BountyJobs FAQs

The marketplace is not open to everyone. New agencies are eligible to join if they are either a preferred vendor for a new employer, or they fill a specialized niche in short supply in the marketplace. All new agencies are screened and approved by a member of the BountyJobs agency on-boarding team to ensure that there is enough volume of jobs in their specialty to justify their efforts.
Just like in the offline world, some employers are very responsive and others are not. To address this important issue, BountyJobs has developed several key indicators to help agencies gauge employer responsiveness. Using these indicators, experienced users find the best employers with ease.
Candidates are kept confidential. Only if an agency explicitly chooses to send candidate information to an employer will this information be shared with that employer. Privacy and security are of paramount concern and we encourage all members to read the BountyJobs Privacy Policy.
The BountyJobs marketplace facilitates communication between agencies and employers. By breaking down so many barriers to conducting business, agencies develop employer relationships in weeks that previously took years. That said, employers on BountyJobs are free to communicate with agencies in any manner that works for them.
No. BountyJobs is not a split network. Only direct employers may post jobs on the marketplace.
No. BountyJobs provides access to tens of millions of dollars in bounties for jobs. It is the agency’s task to find the best candidates to fill the jobs and earn fees.

Fees that are 20 percent of the starting salary or greater are backed by a 90-day full money back guarantee. Fees that are lower than 20 percent of the starting salary, as well as all fixed fees, are backed by a 60-day full money-back guarantee. If a candidate does not work out during this period, BountyJobs will refund the money to the employer and collect the fee back from the agency if already paid.
No. Currently we are only using this data internally to help us continue to make our platform better for you. If in the future we decide to share any of this data with our employers it will be 100% anonymized to protect you.
No. One central contract, which provides for a money-back guarantee, governs the relationship for all parties. The main contract was developed with the input and cooperation of a large number of search firms and the Fortune 500.
Once an employer grants an agency permission to submit candidates for a job, the employer’s full contact information is disclosed to that agency. If an employer has requested a different policy related to agency communication, that policy is made clear before an agency engages on that employer’s roles.
BountyJobs cannot convert pending funds to available funds in a headhunter’s account until both the 60-day period has elapsed and the employer has made payment. BountyJobs will make every effort to collect from delinquent employers. With the quality of employers that BountyJobs attracts, this has not been an issue. BountyJobs also provides agencies with statistics on employers to allow them to gauge several employer benchmarks — including responsiveness and timeliness of payments. All employers know this information is available to the marketplace and make strong efforts to maintain the right statistics.
BountyJobs’ technology provides visibility into the recruiting process that protects our customers from common recruiting disputes. In the rare case that a dispute arises, we will take the situation off your shoulders and act as a neutral mediator to work out a settlement between parties. If mediation is unsuccessful, either party can enforce the Terms of Use to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Agencies own the candidates they submit for a period of six months from the date of submission.
When one of your clients decides to implement BountyJobs, you’ll receive a special invitation to link up with them within the technology to ensure the relationship is preserved and strengthened by adding the ability to collaborate like never before.
BountyJobs’ system blocks duplicate submissions. In the unlikely event that the system fails to block a duplicate submission, the winner will be the agency that first submitted the candidate, as determined by the time and date stamp on the submissions.

Candidates who applied to an employer outside of the marketplace in the preceding six months belong to the employer, and not to the submitting agency. If the employer hires the candidate, the employer will not owe a fee.
