CoSource Beta: Frequently Asked Questions

At BountyJobs we aim to serve the two constituents who participate in our marketplace, employers and third-party recruiters/agencies. This work includes both continuing to evolve our existing products and developing new products that help our constituents have more success in their third-party recruiting efforts.

As the job market continues to tighten we have received numerous requests from third-party recruiters looking for ways to leverage other expert recruiters either to help source for open roles or to provide overflow candidates for open positions. So, we decided to take a BountyJobs approach to providing split fee recruiting opportunities on our platform, and CoSource was born.

Job posting and collaborative sourcing on CoSource is designed to mirror the most successful parts of the employer engagement process on BountyJobs.

1. Complete a job posting, using our intuitive job posting form
2. Select the fee you’re willing to pay the recruiter who submits the candidate who gets hired for the job
3. Get matched to recruiters well suited to work on your job based on their performance on BountyJobs and select your favorites
4. Hold an intake session and get your selected recruiters up to speed on what your ideal candidate looks like
5. Receive, evaluate, give feedback and status updates on candidates within your BountyJobs account
6. When the job fills, BountyJobs collects the fee you agreed to pay and pays the recruiter at the end of the guarantee period

Surge: Many recruiters report having an increase in roles being sent to search by their existing clients. If this is something you are experiencing you can put jobs out on CoSource to manage this increase in jobs without having to hire or make staffing decisions within your organization right now.

Industry Specialization: Sometimes clients have hard-to-fill jobs that sit outside of your current area of specialization. CoSource is an excellent avenue to find and engage recruiters who are experts in niche or specialized job categories. With this option you can keep your client happy by providing quality candidates and not have to pass on the business.

You get to use it first!: Participating in a BETA gives you early access to products and features that won’t be available to the general market for months. In this BETA we have hand selected who we invited to participate to get the perfect mix of experienced, knowledgeable and successful  recruiters on the job posting and sourcing side.

You get it with no up front costs!: While the market subscription costs of CoSource are still being determined, subscription fees will be waived for BETA participants. And for jobs posted before July 15th we will also waive the 5% administrative fee at the time of job closing.

You’re a partner in making the product awesome: BETA participants play a critical role in the continued development and refinement of CoSource. In exchange for early access and waived subscription costs, BETA participants are asked to help provide feedback at key stages of working within CoSource that help us get the product ready for the market at large.

Not all BETAs are created equal: Our goal with launching CoSource as a BETA has more to do with wanting to make sure the features, flow and utility of the product are a positive impact to you and your business, and less to do with testing the functionality of the technology (as some BETAs are designed to do). We value your contributions to the BountyJobs marketplace over the years and we are interested in getting your take on how this product fares for you.

Fee Structure

  • BountyJobs will charge posting & sourcing recruiters 5% of the placement fee
    • For example: $100,000 salary @ 10% fee = $10,000 placement fee x 5% = $500 Bounty fee
    • Bounty will invoice posting agency $10,500 ($10,000 x 5% = $500) ($10,000 + $500)
    • Bounty will pay the sourcing agency $9,500 (10,000 x 5% = $500) ($10,000 – $500)

Guarantee Period

  • 60 day money back guarantee ONLY

Candidate Ownership

  • Job Posting Recruiter can not submit candidate to any other position
  • Job Sourcing Recruiter retains ownership of candidate for 6 Calendar months from Submission

Invoicing & Collections

  • Bounty handles all invoicing and collections
  • Job Posting Recruiter payment due net 30 from Candidate’s Start Date
  • Job Sourcing Recruiter can withdraw paid funds on day 61 from Candidate’s Start Date

Yes, candidate submissions via flier are enabled within CoSource and this BETA.

Yes, Intake Sessions are a critically important part of the engagement process when employers send jobs out to search that we decided it made sense to include them in CoSource and this BETA as well.

At this time the BETA is planned to run for 6 months. The BETA length is subject to change based on data and feedback we receive during early phases of the BETA.

BETA participants in CoSource will not be charged for access to the product. Market costs for CoSource after the BETA are being determined.
